The Valor Clinic Benefit Shoot is all wrapped up. A total of $2,555 was raised for the Valor Clinic Foundation, plus food donations! Results are available both directly on Practiscore and as a PDF download from our website.
We would like to recognize and thank the following for their generous donations:
Finally, we would like to thank our stage sponsors:
Come join us on July 24th for a fun filled day of hand-gunning to benefit our veterans! All proceeds will be given to the Valor Clinic Foundation. Mixed steel and paper targets scored using time plus. Entry fee is a $15 donation or $15 worth of non-perishable can goods.
The items listed above are preferred items. Other items will be accepted. Please keep in mind that cans should be flip top so no can opener is required, and no glass jars.
We will be running squads at 9AM and again at 2PM. Shooters may opt to donate twice and shoot with both the morning and afternoon groups! Mandatory safety briefings will take place at 8:45AM and 1:45PM prior to shooting. If you are not at the safety briefing you will not shoot!
The shoot will consist of 5 stages, 2 steel knockdown, 1 paper and steel, 1 all paper, 1 steel challenge. The minimum round count is approximately 100 rounds. Remember, the minimum round count means you have to shoot clean. BRING EXTRA AMMO!
We are offering pre-registration via Practiscore. This will help us get an idea of expected attendance. As of now we are planning to allow walkon registration beginning at 8:00AM and 1:00PM on the day of the shoot. However, if slots fill up via Practiscore that may change. We encourage all shooters to register via Practiscore to ensure a spot!
July Buffalo rifle scores are now posted on the site. We had a great turn out with some great scores and of course the friendship is always the highlight of the match. We would like to welcome one of our new shooters today Shawn who for his first time out did a great job on the long range plates looking forward to seeing him at the future shoots. We had some really high scores on both the money targets as well as the long range target. On the Pistol Caliber we had no other than Dusty Ed taking that with Marty Leiby taking the Lever action with a score of 9 great shooting. On the Buffalo we have John S coming in with a 39 really impressive. We only have three more matches before we have a new 2016 winner looking forward to seeing everyone next month for the August shoot. And let's see who will be taking home the Buffalo Rifle Trophy for bragging rights for the rest of the year.

Don't forget the Practical Handgun start time has been changed to 9:00AM for the July and August shoots! That means the safety briefing will begin at 8:45.
