Winter Updates

Posted by csmith on January 5, 2017 at 2:53 pm

The concrete work at the clubhouse and the trap range is complete. Block work for skeet houses is in progress.

A few people have asked about the 2017 schedule. I have confirmation that there will be a Practical Handgun shoot on Jan 15th, weather permitting. Beyond that I have no concrete details on scheduling other than expect Practical Handgun to continue on the third Sunday of every month. I'm sure details will be coming in soon so please check back for updates.

This is the last week to RSVP for the Christmas Party! You must RSVP by November 25th.

The 2016 Christmas party is scheduled for Friday, December 9th at 6:00PM at the MSC club house. The party is open for MSC members and their family.

Proceeds to benefit Mainville Township. We are purchasing an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for them.

A $10.00 donation per adult will be collected at the door. Children under 16 are free. You MUST RSVP with the number of adults and children in your party by November 25th to attend.

We will be having a Basket Raffle (including at least 1 gun), a 50/50 and gifts for the children.

Decorating Day will be December 4th at 9AM. If you can help to decorate and arrange tables please call to volunteer.

If you would like to bring your favorite dish or desert, we could be happy to have it (the club will reimburse you, with supplied receipts). Please call for a list of food items that are already being prepared, so we do not duplicate. We will have a head count by November 25th, so you can get an idea of how many people are attending.

To RSVP or volunteer to help with the Christmas party, call Karen Hunsinger at 570-854-1507.

Text or leave a message and she will get back to you.

Cowboy Action Scores for November are Posted

Posted by rhunsinger on November 14, 2016 at 12:43 pm

Started the morning a little on the chilly side for the last Cowboy Shoot of the 2016 season. Keller Hollow Kid had his shootin irons tuned in for the over all win with Lead Slinger Leroy coming in in a very close second and Sidewinder Seth chasing them for third place. Dusty Ed finished with a very impressive over all score winning in his class, said he just wanted to get out of the cold. Mifflin Kid's irons don't work well in the cold so he had to settle for a fourth place finish, thinkin his joints don't like the cold. Dedeye Mike kept everyone hustling and chalked down the scores for the day. A special thanks to all that helped out this year and see ya all in 2017.
